KSPT MEOS Polar systems to State research center Planeta, Moscow, Russian Federation

Kongsberg Spacetec has won a contract with the State Research Center Planeta, Mosvow, Russian Federation, to deliver five -5- MEOS Polar ground station systems that are all expected to be integrated into EUMETSAT's EARS network.

The systems will receive and process data coming from NOAA, METOP, MODIS, SEASTAR, and FY1, and they will be located in Moscow, Novosibirsk and Khabarovsk.

The MEOS Polar ground station system is Kongsberg Spacetec's multi-mission, flexible and modular turnkey system for acquisition, archiving, processing, analysis and distribution of meteorological data.
