KSPT awarded ESA ESRIN contract on NOAA AVHRR and SeaWiFS

Kongsberg Spacetec has signed a contract with European Space Agency, ESRIN for delivery of NOAA AVHRR and SeaWiFS acquisition and processing systems as an upgrade to the MEOS Polar systems for MODIS, delivered by Kongsberg Spacetec earlier this year.

The AVHRR and SeaWiFS systems will be installed at the operational sites at Tromsø (Norway), Matera (Italy) and Maspalomas (Spain).
