First MetOp Image data received!
The picture is a quick-look generated during the reception of METOP orbit 80 by Kongsberg Spacetec's reference MEOS Polar ground station in Tromsø.
The channel combination in the quick-look is (R,G,B)=(1,2,3)
Note the sync-in phase in the beginning of the image showing the point where the instrument was switched on.
The MEOS Polar ground station is Kongsberg Spacetec's standard multi-mission ground-station product for reception, processing and distribution of data from polar-orbiting satellites.
The latest addition to this system is the METOP capabilities.
