KSPT MEOS™ Polar installed in Novosibirsk, Russia

Kongsberg Spacetec has successfully installed two MEOS™ POLAR systems at the Western-Siberian center of ROSHYDROMET, in Novosibirsk, Russia.

The MEOS™ POLAR systems will be part of the EUMETSAT EARS network and support MODIS/ SEASTAR/ FY1/ NOAA/ NPOESS receipt and processing using two 3 m L/X antennas with 4.5 m radomes.

These two systems are in a series of five systems to be delivered to ROSHYDROMET during 2009.

The last of the five systems will be delivered to the ROSHYDROMET European center in Moscow-Dolgoprudny.
